New Semester Started on Aug. 22, 2016

9am on Aug. 22, 2016, the new students of Weihai IVY International School came to campus accompanied by their parents. Their young faces were filled with excitement and joy, full of anticipation to start a  new school and new adventures . Some student spacked enough while other packed more than what was needed. Under the guidance of our teachers, students completed their registration, signed the agreement, received their school uniforms and checked their payments.

After that, subject teachers and class supervisors gave the freshmen a placement testin relation to their oral English and other subjects like math, physics and chemistry. Students carried out the “personalized teaching” in the future according to their different levels. Meanwhile the waiting parents in the restarea communicated with each other about education, also full of expectations for the children’s future development.

Asa vigorous international school, IVY brings new changes to everyone, each semester. Students were pleasantly surprised to find that the school buildings had been comprehensively improved. More senior foreign teachers Dr. James, MaryLiu, Martin Burr and Jang HyunJun who came from UK, USA and South Korea alsojoined the IVY family. These foreign teachers possessing masters or doctor degrees have a wealth of teaching experience and can meet the students’ learning needs of English, French, Spanish, math, physics, economics, PE and othersubjects. Their participation has further strengthened the IVY faculty and will present a more professional academic atmosphere for students.

Fromtoday on, students will leave their parents to study and live in a completely new environment. They will start a new way of learning and realize their dreamto study at a world famous university. At the very beginning, students may feel unaccustomed to the life of boarding school, however, we believe that they will be able to adapt to the learning and pace of life here as soon as possible. They will make a lot of new friends and integrate into the IVY family soon. Come on new students, a bright future belongs to you all!
