【First Round】TOP 50! ?Weihai IVY Spelling Bee Competition of 2015 Start

On March 30 afternoon, Weihai IVY Spelling Bee Competition of 2015 first round hold at Huancui international middle school.
 There are 200 participants in the competition, they are respectively from 32 classes among four grades. Through both “spell and write” and "Spell and read" round, participants finalized for TOP 50, and they also get a "promotion card" for the rematch on April 19.

Teacher Derek explained rules for participants

 During “spell and write” round, participants should based on judge’s pronunciation write down the right word in 30s, either spell wrong word or timeout will be out.

 “spell and read” round were more excited than last round. Participants should base on judge’s pronunciation spell the word and pronounced right in 30s. Although participant has one chance to ask judge for repeating the word or giving definition, it still is a challenge to make every word right in 30s for everyone.

 In the process of competition in Huancui international middle school, participants listen to the pronunciation of judges carefully and answered questions confidently. They fully showed their ability in this competition. After elimination, participants consciously went to watch area and cheered for others, to experience the joy and tension together with other participants.

Events forecast: 2nd round will be at Weihai shiyan middle school on 31st March 3rd round will be at Weihai guzhai middle school on 1st April.
