IVY student won at climbing tournament of shandong province !

Recently Weihai ushered in the first snow of this winter,the campus of IVY is snow everywhere!Even though it is covered by snow, IVY campus is still "steaming hot", because IVY students recently not only won the gold medal in the final of ASDAN business competition in North China, but also achieved excellent results in the climbing championship in shandong province!

This championship is the final competition of the 2018 shandong climbing competition, which is also the largest climbing competition in shandong province. It includes national climbing training team (shandong), national ice climbing team, three climbing teams from the high school affiliated to shandong institute of physical education and other strong teams, with a total of 158 participants. The competition is extremely competitive. IVY has four contestants in the competition, including Jackson, Saber, Kimo and Bill. Kimo finished seventh in the women's difficulty competition and eighth in the women's rock climbing.

Before the departure, the four contestants were engaged in intensive training.They can be seen every afternoon in the school's climbing gym. High climbing wall made people feel daunting, and the courage of the climbers made people respect. During the competition, four competitors firmly grasp the fulcrum, trying their best to maintain body balance on the climb.

Rock climbing also belongs to mountaineering. When climbing, it only relies on the balance of hands, feet and body to move upward, which requires high strength and flexibility of the body.Rock climbing is a special sport course for IVY. The school has built a rock climbing gym for students to do sports, and equipped with a special rock climbing coach to teach students how to do rock climbing.In this sport, students not only build up their physical strength, increase their flexibility and sense of coordination, but also improve their initiative, self-confidence and train their concentration.

At the climbing championship in shandong province, four of IVY's students were calm and did not panic at all when facing the strong team of masters and more difficult and challenging rock walls.They are active at the high climbing wall, hard to grasp a fulcrum, cooperating hand and foot,climbing jump, while maintaining the balance and stability of the body, In the continuous exertion, their hands might be numb, their feet might be sore, and they might be panting with fatigue, but without exception, they sprinted to the top, no matter what the result was, trying their best!
