A wonderful badminton match

It is getting colder day by day in the early winter . There is nothing better but a sports competition with a boiling passion against coldness  . IVY, who just finished the mid-term exam, held a fierce and wonderful badminton match recently. Our teachers and students have to light up to participate in the game, IVY gym, refueling sound, laughter into a torrent of enthusiasm surging in every corner of the game scene.

The competition is divided into two parts:individual competition in the morning, including men's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles, and the team competition in the afternoon.It is based on teams of class and teachers . IVY students try their best to win the competition by their own strength . On the court, a shuttlecock goes over the ball net back and forth, near and far, heavy and light; The badminton rackets are swung in their hands up and down, left and right, front and back. The players on one side of the net moves lightly and hits the forehand. The opponent on the other side move quickly and counterattack. The wonderful moment on the court never stops!

All of the Ivy students get the skill of changing all the time. The movements are hidden, and the methods are changeable with real and deceptive movement. The flying ball makes the opponent's judgment wrong, and the opponent is always too slow to defend. In the singles’competition, the badminton masters take defending as the main skill and smashing as the auxiliary, forming an integration of attack and defense. In doubles’competition, they cooperate with each other, discuss skills and form a tacit understanding.

IVY teachers on the court also have their own unique skills, and their athletic ability is no less than their students. Sometimes they plays "power ball",  sometimes "height ball", sometimes"speed ball"and more frequently they play  "variation ball". The students misjudged from time to time and lost the score. Facts have proved that playing ball can not rely on the body alone. Using the wisdom with the mind is easier to score !

With cheers and screams, the results of the competition were announced. In the morning individual competition, DJ won the men's singles. Lucas and John Choi won the men's doubles, while Lucas and Angel won the mixed doubles. In the afternoon team competition, the teacher group and IG class won, however, the teacher team won the finals. Congratulations to the winning individuals and teams !

Life lies in movement.Sports lets the human realize the unceasing pleasure. IVY attaches great importance to sports and advocates sportsmanship. It not only organizes large-scale international sports events, such as the international sailing competition, but also encourages students to actively participate in various sports events. In addition, the school has organized rock climbing, archery, swimming and a variety of ball games , and school sports clubs will often encourage students to participate in sports. In sports activities, students feel the infinite charm of sports and fall in love with exercise.
