Succulent Plants Take You into the Special Class

Succulent plants, known as the ‘cute pet’ of plants are loved by everyone for their little fresh look. In order to let our students know more about the succulent plants, learn to grow and maintain plants by themselves and to protect the environment and green plants, Weihai IVY International School recently invited the well-known succulent plant expert as well as writer--Mr. Er Mu, to give the students a live and interesting class with guidance for planting of succulent plants.

Mr. Er Mu took the children to the little magical world of succulent plants. After explaining the basic knowledge, he guided the teachers and students how to grow the succulent plants. Students earthed up and planted with different kinds of succulent plants with care, showed their love for these little ‘cute pet’ between fingers. Teachers also became the ‘real gardeners’ through planting the succulent plants by themselves.

Different kinds of succulent plants will exhibit unexpected beauty after carefully matched, like a little garden as well as a child’s happy world. In this special class, students not only acquired basic knowledge and planting methods of succulent plants, but also learned more about protecting the plants and environment, gained the pleasure and sense of achievement in planting succulent plants by themselves.
