Campus Fire Drill at IVY

To enhance the fire safety awareness of the teachers’ and the students’, and to further improve the ability to protect and save our lives from disasters,Weihai IVY International School invited local fire fighters to the school campuson May 17, 2017. After the fire safety knowledge training, a fire safety evacuation drill was held during break time.

Through this training, teachers and students learned the importance of staying calm in the time of emergency. Escaping in a time of an emergency is not just a contest of speed. Keeping a clear mind and good order is the key point.

In the fire drill, all of the teachers and the students took only 2 minutes and 56seconds to evacuate to the designated place.

Through the practice, the students obtained the common sense of fire evacuation, and learned the method of staying calm, orderly and quickly escaping the scene of an accident.
