Weihai IVY General Election of Student Union is Under Way

It is a tradition of IVY that each year in September the student union will be re-elected. This September, the student union will have new members and they will work together for the development and construction of the school. During last year, the former student union played an important rolein giving constructive suggestions, and held many large-scale activities like Christmas Party, sports meeting and school trip, etc.

With the right management, service, dedication and organization, the student union should focus the work on how to organize more meaningful activities for students, how to bridge the communication between students and the school, how to practice the faith of democracy and freedom and how to assert their rights. All of these should be carefully considered by each candidate. Every student who participates in the election was prepared to convey his or her ideas to the whole school and subject to supervision.

In the golden autumn, the annual IVY student union general election was held as scheduled. The candidates delivered their campaign speeches in the order of secretary, campaign director, activity planner, treasurer,vice-president and president. Each student had 3 minutes to talk and display their talent and was unified for on-site defense.
