Senior Australian Counselor gave us admission consultancy for our students

Talking about Australia, what first comes into our mind would be sunshine, beach, Great Barrier Reef, rare animals, opera house……

“Black box”, wifi technology, google map, penicillin, ultrasonic scanner….All these scientific achievements are made by Australian scientists. Many Australians, including those outstanding graduates from Australia universities, are taking their roles in world stage, making efforts to change the world with their contributions.

That’s the reason why students from IVY are dreaming of life in Australia, and listing universities of Melbourne, Sydney, Queensland, Australian National University in their dream schools.

October 16th, senior counselors Vicky and Anna came to our school and presented an impressive speech about college introduction and application.

Vicky introduced the natural environment, curriculum and popular programs of Australian universities, using Curtin University as example. Then she answered the questions proposed by the students concerning college application.

Anna explained employment situation in Australia. The employment gap of lawyers, engineering management, high school teachers, nurses, programming, and mechanical engineering would be increasing in the next few years. At the same time, there wouldn’t be more needs for accountants. She suggested students to choose the right major according to both of their interests and employment.

Through this speech, students obtained more information about Australian universities. Wish all the students could win offers from their dream school.
