WHIVY GALA DAY 2014 Highlights

There were many students from other high schools in Weihai joining IVY Gala Day on 21st of June. Together with IVY students and teachers, they had experienced a wonderful school game carnival with international culture and western education.

This year Gala Day was successfully designed and organized by our students themselves. Eleven interesting games and activities were created based on the combination of Chinese traditional culture; art and design; scientific experiments; business; and and ICT, and CIE Cambridge curriculums.

Each of our classrooms was filled with games and students’ projects from their different subjects and clubs. It was a great opportunity for our students to develop their team-working skills and enhance their integrative competence and multicultural literacy.

The opening ceremony of ‘Weihai Experimental Middle School Social Practice Base’ was also held on the same day. The founder of WHIVY Educational Organization, Mr. Wu, the principal of WHIVY International Preparatory School, Principal Xu, and the vice-principal of Weihai Experimental Middle School, Mrs. Wang hosted the opening ceremony.
